The final full week of September keeps the free programming going on Lake Norman. LangTree Live and the free Acoustic Til series both run Thursday, Concerts on the Green and the Davidson Farmers Market land on Saturday, the Birkdale Village Farmers Market wraps the weekend on Sunday, and the first Oktoberfest events of the season are on the way just minutes from 19329 Watermark Dr #342.

Late September is where summer programming hands off to fall on Lake Norman. LangTree Live holds one of its final free Thursday concerts on the 24th, BoatYard pairs its free Acoustic Til series with Music Bingo that same evening, Concerts on the Green returns to the Davidson Town Green on Saturday the 26th, and the Birkdale Village Farmers Market closes the weekend on Sunday the 27th. Live music and entertainment this week

Monday, September 21

Bridge Lunch at the Cain Center for the Arts (21348 Catawba Ave, Cornelius) at 12:30 PM. Free and open to all, this is the Cain Center's regular Monday gathering and a gentle way to ease into the week.

Monday evening, Broadway trivia and Music Bingo rotate across the Cornelius brewery circuit. Lost Worlds Brewing (19700 One Norman Blvd, Cornelius) runs its Monday trivia from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, with plenty of patio seating for a casual start to the week.

Tuesday, September 22

Thinkin' & Drinkin' Trivia at Old Town Public House (21314 Catawba Ave, Cornelius) from 7:00 to 9:30 PM. Free and a long-running Cornelius favorite in the heart of Old Town.

At Lost Worlds Brewing, the Beer Trekkers Run Club meets at 6:30 PM followed by Music Bingo at 7:00 PM. Run a few miles, then settle in for bingo on the biergarten.

Also Tuesday: Jack's Corner Tap (8301 Magnolia Estates Dr, Cornelius) runs its Tuesday half-priced wine and chicken and dumplings specials.

Wednesday, September 23

Jazz Night at Old Town Public House (21314 Catawba Ave, Cornelius) from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. Free, with live jazz in a relaxed Old Town setting. A Cornelius staple every Wednesday.

LostAsana Yoga takes over the biergarten at Lost Worlds Brewing at 6:30 PM for an outdoor class, and Wine Down Wednesday returns on South Street in Davidson at 6:30 PM with wine tastings, boutique shopping, and sidewalk socializing.

Game Night at Torrence and Knox (20936 Torrence Chapel Rd, Cornelius) runs at 6:30 PM, free and family-friendly, and Mac's Speed Shop Lake Norman (19601 Liverpool Pkwy, Cornelius) hosts LKN Jeep Night from 7:00 to 10:00 PM with drink specials.

Thursday, September 24

LangTree Live at LangTree Lake Norman (401 Langtree Rd, Mooresville) from 6:30 to 9:00 PM. The free outdoor concert series is in its closing stretch, running Thursday nights through the end of September. Bring a chair or blanket and catch another live band on the lawn just off I-77.

Music Bingo at BoatYard Lake Norman (18418 Statesville Rd, Cornelius) from 7:00 PM. Free, all ages, on the waterfront deck. Arrive early for a good table.

The Acoustic Til Thursday Night Football series continues at BoatYard from 6:00 PM with live acoustic music leading into game time, and Lost Worlds Brewing runs its Thursday trivia at 7:00 PM. Lost Worlds also keeps Thursday live music in the biergarten from 6:00 to 9:00 PM.

Also Thursday: Fresh Chef (20601 Torrence Chapel Rd, Cornelius) runs a half-price select wine bottle special.

Friday, September 25

Harp and Crown (19930 W Catawba Ave, Cornelius) serves all 16 oz drafts for $5 all Friday alongside live music, one of the best-value evenings in Cornelius. Check the venue page for this week's artist.

Live music lands across the Lake Norman circuit on Friday: BoatYard Lake Norman, Lost Worlds Brewing, Old Town Public House, Royal Bliss, and Harp and Crown all feature live acts. Saturday, September 26

Davidson Farmers Market runs from 9:00 AM to noon at 120 S. Main St in Davidson. Fresh produce, local baked goods, artisan crafts, and live downtown energy, with live music on the square, to start the weekend.

Concerts on the Green returns to the Davidson Town Green in front of the Davidson Public Library (Main & Concord Rd) from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Free and family-friendly. Check the town site for this Saturday's artist.

Saturday evening, Lost Worlds Brewing keeps live music in the biergarten from 6:00 to 9:00 PM, and BoatYard Lake Norman hosts its weekly waterfront tribute show. Ticketed; check boatyardlkn.com/calendar.

Acoustic Solutions jazz brunch at The Serve Pickleball+Kitchen in Cornelius runs from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and Standup Comedy at Lost Worlds Brewing (19700 One Norman Blvd, Cornelius), presented by Encore Comedy, opens doors at 6:30 PM with the show at 7:00 PM.

  • Laketoberfest lands on Saturday, October 10 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Bailey Road Park (11536 Bailey Rd) in Cornelius. A free community festival with live music, local NC beer and wine, food trucks, and a KidsZone, with proceeds benefiting Lake Norman Wildlife.
