The last full week before Halloween brings tribute nights to the BoatYard waterfront, the North Carolina Youth Orchestra to the Cain Center, Davidson Halloweekend, and the Cornelius Halloween Treat Trail. All just minutes from 19329 Watermark Dr #342.

The final full week before Halloween is one of the season's busiest on Lake Norman. BoatYard runs a two-night tribute stand with Slippery When Wet (a Bon Jovi tribute) on Friday and Skynfolks (a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute) on Saturday, the North Carolina Youth Orchestra plays the Cain Center Sunday afternoon, Davidson hosts its annual Halloweekend along Main Street, and Cornelius brings back the Halloween Treat Trail at Bailey Road Park. Here is everything happening October 19 through 25, all within a short drive of 19329 Watermark Dr #342.

Live music and entertainment this week

Monday, October 19

Bridge Lunch at the Cain Center for the Arts (21348 Catawba Ave, Cornelius) at 12:30 PM. Free and open to all, this is the Cain Center's regular Monday gathering and a gentle way to ease into the week.

Monday evening, Broadway trivia and Music Bingo rotate across the Cornelius brewery circuit. Lost Worlds Brewing (19700 One Norman Blvd, Cornelius) runs its Monday trivia from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, with plenty of biergarten seating for a casual start to the week.

Tuesday, October 20

Thinkin' & Drinkin' Trivia at Old Town Public House (21314 Catawba Ave, Cornelius) from 7:00 to 9:30 PM. Free and a long-running Cornelius favorite in the heart of Old Town.

At Lost Worlds Brewing, the Beer Trekkers Run Club meets at 6:30 PM followed by Music Bingo at 7:00 PM. Run a few miles, then settle in for bingo on the biergarten.

Also Tuesday: Jack's Corner Tap (8301 Magnolia Estates Dr, Cornelius) runs its Tuesday chicken and dumplings and half-priced wine specials.

Wednesday, October 21

Jazz Night at Old Town Public House (21314 Catawba Ave, Cornelius) from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. Free, with live jazz in a relaxed Old Town setting. A Cornelius staple every Wednesday.

LostAsana Yoga takes over the biergarten at Lost Worlds Brewing at 6:30 PM for an outdoor class, and Wine Down Wednesday returns on South Street in Davidson at 6:30 PM with wine tastings, boutique shopping, and sidewalk socializing.

Game Night at Torrence and Knox (20936 Torrence Chapel Rd, Cornelius) runs at 6:30 PM, free and family-friendly, and Mac's Speed Shop Lake Norman (19601 Liverpool Pkwy, Cornelius) hosts LKN Jeep Night from 7:00 to 9:00 PM with live music, $11 PBR buckets, $5 Jameson shots, and $5.50 drafts.

Thursday, October 22

Music Bingo at BoatYard Lake Norman (18418 Statesville Rd, Cornelius) runs from 7:00 PM, free and all ages, on the waterfront deck, while the Acoustic Til Thursday Night Football series continues from 6:00 PM with live acoustic music leading into game time. With the season-long points race winding down, this is a good week to play before the grand prize lands on the last Thursday of October.

Lost Worlds Brewing runs its Thursday trivia at 7:00 PM with live music in the biergarten from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Also Thursday: Fresh Chef (20601 Torrence Chapel Rd, Cornelius) runs a half-price select wine bottle special.

Friday, October 23

The headline show of the week: Slippery When Wet, a Bon Jovi tribute, takes the waterfront stage at BoatYard Lake Norman (18418 Statesville Rd, Cornelius) at 8:00 PM. The show is 21+, with tickets around $10 in advance and $15 at the door at boatyardlkn.com. Arrive early for a waterfront table.

Friday also opens Halloweekend in Davidson, running through Sunday. The annual Main Street Halloween March brings trick-or-treating down Main Street with the lineup at 5:00 PM at the Davidson Public Safety Building (216 S. Harp and Crown (19930 W Catawba Ave, Cornelius) serves all 16 oz drafts for $5 all Friday alongside live music, one of the best-value evenings in Cornelius. Saturday, October 24

Davidson Farmers Market runs from 9:00 AM to noon at 120 S. Main St in Davidson. Fresh produce, local baked goods, artisan crafts, and live music on the square to start the weekend.

Cornelius Halloween Treat Trail returns to Bailey Road Park (11536 Bailey Rd, Cornelius) from 5:30 to 8:00 PM. Free, with pre-registration required on the Town of Cornelius parks page; local businesses hand out candy to costumed kids ages 12 and under along the trail. It is the signature Halloween event of the week, minutes from Watermark.

Saturday evening, Skynfolks, a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute, plays BoatYard Lake Norman at 8:00 PM (21+, about $15 in advance and $20 at the door at boatyardlkn.com), and Lost Worlds Brewing keeps live music in the biergarten from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. The Carolina Renaissance Festival continues its 2026 season Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM at 16445 Poplar Tent Rd in Huntersville, about 20 minutes from Watermark, with jousting, live stage shows, artisans, and themed weekends. Pumpkin carving and fall family events are in full swing at Rural Hill Corn Maze (4431 Neck Rd, Huntersville), open Friday through Sunday with the pumpkin patch, tractor-pulled hayrides, and food trucks.

Sunday, October 25

The North Carolina Youth Orchestra presents Youth Choir, Sinfonia, & Philharmonic at the Cain Center for the Arts (21348 Catawba Ave, Cornelius) at 3:00 PM. An afternoon of young musicians from across the state in one of the lake's best venues; tickets at cainarts.org.

Halloween in Huntersville takes over Huntersville Athletic Park (11720 Verhoff Dr) from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, free, with trick-or-treat booths, live entertainment, a costume contest, and kids' activities. Carolina Renaissance Festival continues its weekend run on Sunday from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM in Huntersville, a full family day out with jousting, shows, and artisans. Acoustic Solutions jazz brunch at The Serve Pickleball+Kitchen in Cornelius runs from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and Standup Comedy at Lost Worlds Brewing (19700 One Norman Blvd, Cornelius), presented by Encore Comedy, opens doors at 6:30 PM with the show at 7:00 PM.
